Robert
Levine was born in
New York City
in 1937, and received a B.A. from
Syracuse
University
in 1957. He has over thirty years of legal experience.
A Cum Laude graduate of South Texas College of Law, he received his J.D.
and has been in practice in
Houston
since 1972. Mr. Levine is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and
Western Districts of
Texas
, U.S. Court of Military of Appeals and the U.S. Tax Court.
Robert
Levine’s practice focuses on corporate and business transactions and general
business representation. His practice emphasis is hospitality law, and
includes extensive experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, business
entities and ownership issues, contracts, and dealing generally with the legal
issues facing businesses within the hospitality industry.
The
firm’s client base reflects the diverse aspects of the business community both
locally and throughout the state, the majority of our clients are in the
hospitality industry, in particular, restaurateurs, hoteliers and other general
service enterprises. The primary thrust of our practice deals with the
establishment of an appropriate entity designed to fit the clients' needs and
insuring compliance with the applicable laws and the rules and regulations of
the several agencies under which such business operates.
The firm has been involved in the various aspects of transactional law,
applicable to both real property and personal property venues, as it applies to
the development and maintenance of business enterprises and their compliance
with applicable laws.
