Stephen V. Miller is Managing Partner and concentrates in government affairs and business strategies, telecommunications, land use, zoning and licensing law and commercial and real estate litigation. Steve has successfully represented numerous clients in all sectors of the alcoholic beverages and hospitality industries, including wholesalers, suppliers and on-premise and off-premise licensees before state and federal administrative authorities and in the community outreach process. He has also directed real estate developments in all phases of the development and financing process and advanced the interests of several clients in the telecommunications and finance areas through his government affairs expertise. Steve is a former Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, serving under Francis X. Bellotti, and has owned and operated several successful and well-known restaurants and entertainment facilities in Boston. Steve is a former board member and vice president of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association and has been described by Boston Magazine as a top permitting, licensing and zoning attorney in the hospitality industry. His distinguished career as a restaurateur was also featured in a profile article in the Boston Globe. Steve is a member of Massachusetts Bar and received his BA from Assumption College and his JD from Boston College.
