Robert D. Skene, Esq.
Mr. Skene started his career in the alcoholic beverage, industry when he
began working as a Licensing Administrator with the New York State Liquor
Authority, where, after a few years, he rose to the position of License Board
Member. After leaving government employment in 1995, Mr. Skene concentrated his
law practice in the area of alcoholic beverage regulatory control and eventually
became a partner in the legendary alcoholic beverage regulatory control law firm
of Buchman & O’Brien, LLP.
Mr. Skene's areas of
practice include nationwide alcoholic beverage licensing and compliance matters
for all three tiers of the alcoholic beverage industry.
Mr. Skene is a Member
of the New Jersey Bar and New York Bar, as well as the United States District
Court for the Southern District of New York and is a Member of the American Bar
Association. He is also a Member of the National Conference of State Liquor
Administrators and was a contributing author to a chapter on alcoholic beverage
law practice for West’s Guide to New York Practice. Mr. Skene received a
